Day 1: Cusco – Tambomachay – Qoriqocha Lagoon – Pucamarca
Start in Tambomachay
We begin with pickup in Cusco and transfer to Tambomachay, the starting point of the hike. Here we will begin a gentle ascent surrounded by mountains, fresh air, and beautiful panoramic views.
Hike through high Andean lagoons
Along the route, we will visit beautiful lagoons such as Qoriqocha and other bodies of water that reflect the Andean sky and enhance the landscape with a unique atmosphere.
Mountain pass and descent to Pucamarca
We then reach the highest point of the day, where wide valleys and mountains can be seen. After that, we descend to the small village of Pucamarca, where we have dinner and rest at camp.

Descent to Lamay
We then descend to the village of Lamay, where we have lunch before continuing the journey to Ollantaytambo.
Train to Aguas Calientes
In Ollantaytambo, we board the train to Aguas Calientes, where we will rest at the hotel and prepare for our visit to Machu Picchu the next day.

Free time to explore

Return to Cusco
