Day 1: Cusco – Sacred Valley – Lares Hot Springs – Wacawasi
Departure to Lares
Early pickup from your hotel to travel toward the Sacred Valley. Along the way, you will admire agricultural landscapes, snow-capped mountains, and traditional villages.
Lares Hot Springs
We arrive at the famous hot springs, where you will enjoy a moment of relaxation in natural pools with different temperatures.
Start of the hike
After lunch, we begin the hike toward the community of Wacawasi, known for its textile artisans and ancestral traditions.
Cultural exchange
You will have the opportunity to closely experience the customs of local families, their way of life, and the making of traditional textiles.
Day 1 Details

Day 2: Wacawasi – Ipsay Pass – Patacancha
Ascent to Ipsay
After breakfast, we begin the ascent to the highest point of the route, Ipsay Pass (4,450 m). Along the way, you will see herds of alpacas and llamas in their natural environment.
High-Andean landscapes
We will hike surrounded by turquoise lagoons, imposing mountains, and wide valleys full of Andean life.
Descent to Patacancha
After crossing the pass, we begin a gentle descent toward the community of Patacancha, where you will be welcomed by local families who preserve ancestral traditions.
Day 2 Details

Arrival in Ollantaytambo
We arrive at the charming living Inca town and enjoy a short break before boarding the train to Aguas Calientes.
Train journey
The train ride offers spectacular views of the Urubamba River and the high jungle, marking the beginning of the final adventure to Machu Picchu.

You will be able to explore, take photos, or optionally hike an additional mountain such as Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, with prior reservation.
Return to Cusco
Bus descent to Aguas Calientes, train to Ollantaytambo or Poroy, and final transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
