Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco – Cachora – Capulliyoq – Chikiska – Santa Rosa Baja
Start of the journey
You will be picked up between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. to travel to Cachora and then to Capulliyoq (2,890 m), where you will enjoy a spectacular view of the Padreyoq snow-capped mountain and the Apurímac Canyon. This point is considered one of the most stunning viewpoints on the entire route.
Descent to Chikiska
You will begin the descent of approximately 2 and a half hours until reaching Chikiska (1,900 m), a place surrounded by nature where you will enjoy a delicious lunch and rest before continuing.
Crossing to Playa Rosalina and final ascent
You will then continue to Playa Rosalina, the lowest point of the entire route (1,550 m). From there, you will begin an ascent of approximately 3 hours to Santa Rosa Baja, where the team will be waiting for you with a hot dinner and the campsite ready for rest.

Day 2: Santa Rosa Baja – Marampata – Choquequirao
Ascent to Marampata
After an energizing breakfast at 5:00 a.m., you will begin a steep ascent of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes toward Marampata (2,870 m). From this point, you will get impressive views of the valley and the archaeological complex.
Arrival at Choquequirao
After walking حوالي 2 more hours, you will arrive at the Inca citadel of Choquequirao. There, you will explore its main archaeological sectors: terraces, temples, ceremonial enclosures, and agricultural areas. This place is known as the twin sister of Machu Picchu.
Night in Marampata
After a day full of exploration, you will return to Marampata to enjoy a comforting dinner and rest at a peaceful campsite.
Day 2 Details

Descent into the canyon
You will begin the hike at 6:00 a.m., descending once again to Playa Rosalina. During this part of the route, you will be able to appreciate the majesty of the canyon and its diverse flora.
Ascent to Chikiska and lunch
From Playa Rosalina, you will begin an ascent toward Chikiska (1,900 m), where you will enjoy a comforting lunch before continuing.
Final climb to Cocamasana
In the afternoon, you will continue climbing to Cocamasana, the location of the third campsite, surrounded by an incredible landscape and perfect for resting.
Day 3 Details

Return trip to Cusco
The return journey takes around 4 hours and 30 minutes. You will arrive in Cusco in the afternoon, concluding this unforgettable adventure. Transportation will drop you off at Plaza San Francisco.
